What must I know before effecting the reservation of my motorhome?
It’s basic for us that you know the general conditions of the rent, because we value the clarity and transparency of our services.

What type of fuel do the motorhomes use? How much do they consume?
Our clients usually do many kilometres, so the fuel it is Gasoil,itis much cheaper, and with an approximate consumption of 12/14 liters/100 km. The motorizations are of 2200cc with powers that range between a 100 and 130CV.

What’s the measure of an motorhome? How much is the cruise speed of an motorhome?
The height ranges between 2,64m. and 3,07m. (Trunk not included), the width is 2,35m. and the length ranges between 6,36m. and 6,46m. depending on the selected model. If it’s acquired a bicycle carrier, this can add almost 1 m. to the length of the vehicle. The full load cruise speed is about 100-110km/h. All our motorhomes can be driven with the type B driving license. It will surprise you how easy you will drive them.

what things must I pay attention to when I drive an motorhome?
Principally to the height, paying attention to the bridges, balconies, parkings and petrol stations. You also must take care with the tree branches. Take the rear-view mirrors suitably regulated. You will have to reduce a bit the speed in windy days, and especially when you cross with trucks or buses. You must take care with the transoms and windows, keeping them always closed while you drive. Remember to raise the exterior step and to gather the clothes lines. The assurance does not cover carelessness. If you are going to access to a beach or you drive along a poor condition road, take care with the bottom vehicle height, and it will be a good idea that someone helps you from the outside. Be prudent and circulate slowly, please. This is not a 4x4. The vehicle is long. For little space parking maneuvers, you also will need help from the outside. Remember that the bicycle carrier (if you acquire it like an extra accessory) makes the vehicle about 1 meter longer.

Where Can I park the motorhome?
Everywhere, if opposite is not expressly indicated.

What level of gasoil is the motorhome delivered? Is it necessary to return it at the same level?
We deliver all our motorhomes with the full deposit, and when you return it, the deposit will have to be at the same level that we delivered it to you.

Is the motorhome completely clean delivered? How the motorhome should be delivered?
Before delivering every vehicle, we check and clean them, to deliver them in perfect conditions for your use and enjoyment. When you return it, it has to be inside cleaned, beside bringing the dirty water and WC deposits completely empty. In opposite case, 60€ will be discounted of the bail to be used for cleaning.

What kind of insurance do I contract when I rent a motorhome? What is the purpose of the bail?
The insurance that  goes  with the motorhome rental   includes obligatory Civil Responsibility insurance, and also a 600 € franchise all risk insurance, theft and fire with coverage in the whole European Community, international onroad assistance , accommodations and transfers in case of accident or breakdown. The 600 € bail refers to the all risk insurance franchise that our motorhomes possess, so if we are culprits of some damage, we will grammar the repair payment with the mentioned bail.
If the culprit is a third one, you and the third one will have to fill in the friendly accident report, and it must be signed for both parts, indicating clearly who is the responsible for the damages.
All under 600 € cost damages that happen in the motorhome during the rental period, which responsibility belongs to the tenant, will be discounted from the 600 € bail.The policy does not contemplates the additional objects added in the motorhome as extras neither for request of the client (TV, DVD, carries bicycles, convertor 12V/220V …), nor either the personal objects left inside the vehicle in the moment of the disaster, theft or fire, which it will traverse at the expense of the lessee, being able to use the bail for the credit of the additional objects (extras) rented by the client.

May another person who is not in the contract drive the motorhome if I am tired? How many drivers can appear in contract?
Yes, If the minimal requirements of the assurance are provided, being over 25 year old and having got the driving license since at least 2 years ago. The person who appears in the contract must be inside the vehicle when (he/she) does not drive. 2 are the drivers that may be introduced in the contract.

Is the motorhome totally autonomous?
Yes, because our motorhomes have a solar panel connected to an auxiliary battery to give service of light (It is also possible to charge this battery while the engine is working thanks to a charge relay) , 2 gas cylinders for the kitchen, warm water and refrigerator and 3 deposits destined to store clean water, dirty waters and W.C. respectively. The standard tanks of clean water have a capacity of 130 liters approximately. We have added another deposit of 90 liters in order to improve the autonomy (220 liters). We will deliver it full on the exit. This will give you autonomy for 3-4 days (depending on your shower use, even more).You will be able to refill this clean water deposit in the great majority of petrol stations of the island. We have created a map of the island (which we will give you at the beginning of your holidays) where we include all Fuerteventura´s petrol stations and also all the places where you can empty the dirty waters and W.C. tanks,. With 2 gas cylinders, you will have sufficient autonomy if your rental is less than 2 weeks. You will be able to collect 2 full cylinders in our facilities without any cost if your rental is superior to 2 weeks, or to recharge them in any petrol station. You must present the bill of the payment in order to proceed to your money devolution.

Can I use 220V electrical household appliances in a motorhome?
Yes. Our vehicles possess, with an additional cost, a 12V/220V convertor that provides electric tension permanently. It has a maximum power of simultaneous supply, so there will be some electrical household appliances that will not be able to work simultaneously. Verify the power of the appliances you connect. This measure is in Watts (W) and comes indicated in all the devices and household appliances. Normally the convertor have a maximum power of 300W. You will not have any problem to connect your lap top, or charge any video camera or photos. Take care with hairdryers, irons, toasters and similar devices that generate heat because they might break the convertor (his consumption is about them 1000-2000W).For this reason we include it with an additional cost for the client in any motorhome rental.

What equipment does it come in a motorhome?
All our motorhomes are provided with cabin air conditioning, gas cylinders, a bottle of W.C. chemical liquid, different adapters to be able to connect to electrical current in the majority of the European countries, pipehose to refill the water tank with adapter, 220V extension cable for camping’s, portable rechargeable lamp, emergency triangles, 2 reflecting jackets, replacement  lamps, tools, oil can for the engine, cooling liquid, CD mp3 radio with distance command, fire-extinguisher, electronic immobilizer, safety closings, gas sensors with alarm, battery jump leads, cleaning kit, motorhome user´s guide, and  island maps.

What does happen if in the course of the rent a breakdown happens in the vehicle? Has un assurance of assistance in road 24 H?
We have vehicles with very little use because our fleet is renewed constantly. In Fuerteventura Motorhomes we don't allow that our clients should go away from our facilities without anybody who attends them in case of any kind of problem. It could happen that the motorhome breakdown; in this case, the company will indicate you the nearest dealer or repair shop that will be able to resolve the breakdown. For it, you will have a 24 hour telephone number where you will be attended. We will also provide another additional telephone number for locating our personnel in festive days in case of any problem.
For any repair over 150 €, you will have to be authorized by Fuerteventura Motorhomes, returning you the bill when you deliver the vehicle. Below 150 €, you will be able to pay directly without any permission from our part. In both cases, we ask you earnestly to request a bill with our data which is indicated in the rental contract.
In case any breakdown could not be repaired immediately, and only if the company does not have another substitution vehicle, we have a 24 h on road assistance that will take charge, booking you and yours into a nearby hotel, with also a Class B rental car .

What does it happen if during the rental I have an accident with the motorhome?
In case any kind of fortuitous accident could happen during your rental, preventing the continuation of your vacations, the contract will be cancelled immediately, and there is no kind of refund for remaining rental days.
